Trainer Kites
Trainer kites are small kites, controlled via a bar that are designed to mimick the actions of a larger kite. They enable you to make mistakes in your flying, and not get tossed down the beach! It will take you roughly 5 minutes to fly a trainer kite for the first time, they are very easy to manouvre and relaunch. We'll walk you through the setup and flying of your trainer in store, or you can simply download our Trainer kite Instructions from the Resources section of the site.
Most trainer's are foil kites, completely collapsible and virtually unbreakable, they also come with a similar bar to the 'real thing' - a kitesurfing kite. Check out a range of trainer kites in the Kitepower Store

"Learning to fly a trainer kite will save you around $560 in lesson fee's..."
Within 5 minutes you can be flying your first kite - but how long will it take you to fly it with your eyes closed, one handed - behind your back? We believe you should have some flying experience before you have a lesson; that way we can talk to you - and you can listen to us without worrying about that's going on in the sky.
We've proven that by coming to your lesson with this experience, you won't need five lessons, you'll need just TWO. Take a look at our findings below:
